Hawzah News Agency- Imam Sadiq (a.s) said:
قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ یَقُولُ إِنِّی تَطَوَّلْتُ عَلَی عِبَادِی بِثَلَاثٍ أَلْقَیْتُ عَلَیْهِمُ الرِّیحَ بَعْدَ الرُّوحِ وَ لَوْ لَا ذَلِکَ مَا دَفَنَ حَمِیمٌ حَمِیماً وَ أَلْقَیْتُ عَلَیْهِمُ السَّلْوَهَ بَعْدَ الْمُصِیبَهِ وَ لَوْ لَا ذَلِکَ لَمْ یَتَهَنَ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ بِعَیْشِهِ وَ خَلَقْتُ هَذِهِ الدَّابَّهَ وَ سَلَّطْتُهَا عَلَی الْحِنْطَهِ وَ الشَّعِیرِ وَ لَوْ لَا ذَلِکَ لَکَنَزَهُمَا مُلُوکُهُمْ کَمَا یَکْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَ الْفِضَّهَ.
Indeed, Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, says:
I have bestowed [My special] grace upon My servants through three things:
1. I cast upon them the odor [of dead] after [the departure of] the soul, and were it not for that, no beloved friend or relative would ever bury a beloved one;
2. and I cast upon them solace after calamity, and were it not for that, none among them would ever enjoy their life;
3. and I created this pest [the weevil] and set it over wheat and barley, and were it not for that, their monarchs would have hoarded them just as they hoard gold and silver.
